TRIP
REPORT -Vanuatu
|
 |
|
Many
brewery workers were called in for overtime, due to the
fact Greg and Dugong were flying in. Greg decided to purchase
a vehicle for the two weeks, it worked out cheaper! |
|
|
 |
|
Everyone
had an exceptional time. It was all fun and games until
someone got hurt. Dugong took great pride in documenting
the injuries that occured throughout the two weeks.

We
stayed in two lovely spots, with varying states of accomodation.
Aore was absolutely lovely although the seclusion presented
a minor problem.

The
dreaded ferry trip-Think of 15 people, 5 sets of dive
gear, 24 cases of Tusker, 6 cases of VB,several local
employees, 15-20 knot winds and 3 kms to travel. Everyone
arrived safely except a few cases of Tusker but we did
pick up a hangover on the way so it evened out.

Hideaway
Island offered a little more to do, this week was for
rest and relaxation. We all enjoyed running around Port
Vila sampling the wonderful food on offer, the pastries
are exquisite. Dugong and Greg missed their chance with
two lovely French women however, while sitting in the
Waterfront Bar, these said ladies left their keys on
the table to allure the two unsuspecting (sort of) Kiwis
to another part of the bar, When the girls (Robyn &
Racheal) showed up from a hard walk through the main
shopping centre of Vila.

it pailed in comparison to last years Kum Face evening

holiday. Can anyone pick our friendly Australian mate?Chris
and Helen even managed one together.
