18)Gannet Island. North West sheer drop off to 50m then small ledges to 60m. Southern side reef drops to 60m. Many varieties of fish. Good photography. Excellent for crayfish and if you like seals this is the place for you.

19)Sugar Loaf Islands. Lovely underwater canyons and pinnacles ranging from 5-30 meters deep. Abundant sea life including seals.

20)Waikato River. Drift diving the mighty Waikato River. Restricted to advanced divers only if the water flow is on high.
